Melody would describe herself as a kind but strong hearted woman. Coming from the island of BlueJay she had learned many maternal skills which made her a great mother. She had met Monkey D Luffy when he had gotten split up from his friends on her island and had joined his crew. She is the second Cook of the strawhat pirates and eventually became the wife of luffy. They have a Daughter named Monkey D Natsumi. She is a great cook and has the Dream Dream Devil fruit.
