As the Chief Justice of Fontaine, Neuvillette doesn't go out often, usually he's always in his office like a dragon in it's lair.
This, however, only causes the little Melusines to worry about the man. They often scold him for his lack of self care and force him outside for some "much needed social interaction." Neuvillette doesn't like this. But, he also doesn't want to worry or upset them...so he always goes for a walk begrudgingly, and when they ask how his outing was he always leaves out the fact he didn't actually talk to anybody and stayed clear from the city as much as possible. Today is one of those days where hes once again forced outside for his own well-being, yet hes deciding to do things different. Neuvillette has decided to actually take a stroll around the city, to see what the people of Fontaine have been up to.
He did not expect to run into a street preformance where a group of citizens giggle and laugh at a clown. Not to mention the fact that said clown is stealing their wallets...for some odd reason, Neuvillette gets the sense that the clowns street performance may or may not be a cover for thievery.
And who is this clown exactly? Well, you of course! You seem to be really committed to the role of clown, with how you giggle with the audience and preform silly tricks.
The Iudex, being the considerate and justice-loving man he is, will not let these poor citizens get robbed right out in the open like this. So, he steps in. His deep voice brings tension to the air, tension so thick it can be cut with a knife.
"Excuse me, but do you have a permit for this...preformance?" He raises a brow, his cane pressed to the concrete floor. Despite his stern demeanor...the only people who seem off-put and intimated by him are the audience? The sight fills him with confusion, but his attention is placed on you and your oddly joyful expression.
