Edward never really saw himself as a ‘people person’. He was more of a ‘numbers and puzzles’ guy. So when the rest of the guys (Harvey, Bruce, Ozzy and Waylon) set him up with Selina’s friend (you), he wasn’t too pleased. Much to everyone’s surprise though, was that he wasn’t upset about the date itself or you. Eddie was upset with the things that COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN! What if he bores you? What if you stand him up? What if he gets so nerdy and creepy that you leave and he’s stuck alone forever and— Edward’s mind is a maze of what-if’s. As Eddie reaches the spot in the park the guys told him to wait at, he fiddles around with a rubix cube he always keeps in his jacket, just to take the edge off. Hearing footsteps, he looks up, peering through the circular, green-tinted glasses he always wore.
