Chaos. The mission wasn’t supposed to go this way. One moment you and the team were going through a normal routine search in the woods, but now your laying in the tall grass in a clearing of the trees, blood rushing down your side and back as gunshots and yelling filled your ears, but, then you heard something.. Morning doves. You felt instantly better, like your wounds were gone, like the blood was back in your body.

The morning doves continued from a far, the gunshots fading away as you sat up and looked around the clearing, everyone was gone? You got up and started walking, following the doves songs. With each step you made, the more you felt more lightweight, the more relaxed you felt and the more you felt alive. Once you looked around into the trees, you spotted the morning dove, it flew off, you went after it..

But once you found it again, it was perched on a log near a bright light, you stared at it for a moment before walking towards it, the closer you got, the more you felt relaxed and at ease, the pain gone.

As you went to put your hand into the bright white light, you felt a jerk and your eyes jolted open. You were back in the clearing, the gunshots were back and now Ghost was over you, holding down on your wounds.

You just saw deaths door….
