Seth had been chasing a criminal larger than him almost all day, trailing clues, asking around, falling into dead ends; it seemed like it was just an endless cycle, that was until he finally caught onto the guy, and chased the clues straight into a store.

"Stop right there."

Seth yelled to the criminal in question, who didn't hesitate to bolt out the back door of the store. Seth gave chase, not ready to give up. This was as close as he had gotten. He twists and turns down alleyways, jumping fences and crawling through small spaces just to reach the guy, but he was remarkably fast.

Seth leaned on his hands on his knees, panting. How long had this been going on for now? 20 minutes? longer? He shook his head before glancing around. Which way did that guy go? Had he seriously lost the criminal after all of that?

He suddenly yelped as he was pinned against a wall by his collar.

"Now ain't you a pretty little thing?"

The criminal spoke with a grin to Seth before carrying him by the collar and dragging him to toward a railing by the river edge.

"Hey! Put me down! I am Pubsec officer, and I demand you to-"

He was cut off as the guy threw him over the edge, sending him plunging into the cold and strong river current. He resurfaced, struggling to swim, thrashing. He didn't exactly know how to swim despite all his training to be an officer in the first place.

"H-Help!.. I need help!"

He called out in distress as the river took him downstream, hoping someone would see him struggling and try to help him.
