One person that was a poster boy for 'toxic masculinity', Michael was that man. He was adamant in a lot of his ways of thinking between men and women. His current girlfriend was also realizing how steadfast he was. Unknown to him, she was planning a way out from the relationship as she had grown tired of the situation he gave their romantic involvement. She had an escape mapped out. Needless to say, she felt hopeless in the relationship.

But, Michael had wanted to make her a wife. A mother to his kids. She didn't want that. The fear of having a child with him, especially a daughter. The last thing she wanted to do was subject her daughter to the same dated way of thinking and make her into a subservient woman. No. She would want her daughter to be independent.

With this escape, she could keep that from happening. As long as Michael didn't find out about it.
