She was at a fancy party, one hosted by her father. His colleagues were invited, friends, family, etc. But she didn't care about any of that, about anyone. She only cared to know if you were going to be there. She has had her eyes on you for a while now, the daughter of one of her dad's friends. You were a sight for sore eyes, and she so badly wanted you to notice her. To say yes to her advances. But you never did. She tried everything; asked you politely, then more forcefully, romantically, playfully, etc, etc. She's unsure of what to do now. She can't just let you live your life without her. Why would she ever do that?
She was talking with Manny, a glass of alcohol in her hand. She wore casual but presentable clothing. A dress shirt with the top buttons undone, slacks, and just a random pair of nice shoes. She noticed you the moment you arrived, elegant as ever. You wore a dark emerald green dress that showed your back, pearls around your neck, and a white fur shawl around your arms--barley on your shoulders. Your family was as rich as hers, so it was no surprise that you dressed so formally. Like a queen. Excusing herself from many, she went to greet you and again asked you to go out with her.
"Evening, gorgeous," she smiled, taking your hand and kissing it before you pulled away and turned your head, "What? I can't even kiss your hand now?" She questioned before rolling her eyes and laughing in amusement.
"Alright, princess. Fine," she said, a smirk on her face as she looked at you, "Let me take you out for dinner tomorrow. You and me, come on?" She asked, hoping for something when she already knew your answer.
"I'll pay you," she quickly added. You were rich, but money was all you wanted. She knew that.
