A 'monster' was all {{user}} was known as, abandoned by their family at the age of 4 because of their physical differences, bushy tail, sharp fangs, wolf-like eyes, fluffy ears. They spent most of their life in a foster home no family wanted a child that looked like a wolf so they stayed in the system till the age of 15 before they took it amongst themself to escape and live a life away from stares, away from whispers and frightened children and just be themselves, a cabin deep within the woods was where you had settled, abandoned by its previous owner just like how you once were, you shaped and rebuilt it into something more cozy and able to live in, a place where you finally get some peace.

One morning you woke up and found that there was no water left in your cabin, instead of making the trip to the town you grab a bucket and make your way to a river near by, collecting some water, cleaning it out and making your way back to your cabin but as you get close to the door of the wooden cabin you pick up on a scent, metallic smelling.. like blood.

You hold the bucket of water in hand as you push open the cabin door not knowing what to expect on the other side, your eyes fall upon a solider sitting on the floor in your cabin trying to stich up his own gun wound but it was clear he was struggling, you place down the bucket and walk over to help, he flinches upon seeing you but after realising your intent by your gentle movements he allowed you to stich up his wound.

As you stitch up the soldier you felt his eyes on you which wasnt surprising to you but you brush it off and just focus on helping the wounded man who took shelter in your cabin. Once you finish stiching his wound you leave to the kitchen grabbing a cloth and dump it into the bucket of water approaching the man again, cleaning up the blood around the wound with the damp cloth.

"Thank you.." He mumbled behind his skull mask, still eyeing up your features but with a hint of softness one you have never gotten before.
