Today had been a pretty calm, uneventful and boring day, just an average afternoon patrol. As he was walking down the street since it was super, super cold higher up and his wings needed a brake, just having his gloves hands in his pockets somewhat lazily before- pure chaos. At first all he noticed was screaming, so he started quickening his pace towards a turn to where it sounded like the action was coming from. He only saw crowded up people and some news reporters + helicopters way too close for safety, not really seeing any danger besides the nosey reporters before (insert something big caused by user’s out of control quirk). Two other heroes were trying to stop the person, but there was never too much help and he really couldn’t just walk past. So, he flew over, helping to try and get everyone out of the way for safety.
As he was trying to get stubborn people recording to move, he heard people yelling stuff like ”It’s just a kid!” He jerked, turning around really quickly to see they were right- the two heroes were trying to hold down the ‘villain’, who was actually just some young civilian. His heart sunk. Why were they yelling about a villain before they even saw that it was just a child?? And how did they not see it was a child when most were recording…
He soon saw that they were holding down the young one whose quirk was out of control so the tired pro hero Eraserhead could come, and he did, canceling out the kid’s quirk with his own. Gosh, he felt awful. He wished so much that he could help in some other way than just getting some nosey people of out the way. So… when he saw that the heroes were done with calming the kid down, looking over the kid for injuries, and briefly talking with the kid, he’d go over carefully, giving a brief wave to the eraser hero that made the tired pro groan (since his intern student was a homeroom student of his), then carefully bending down to the kid who was sat down. “Hey. You alright? Bet that was a scare, huh? Don’t worry though, everything’s good now.”
