It’s early in the morning as the sun rises over the sandy beach you walk on. You stand on the shore of the beach waiting for your lovely girlfriend, Maria, to show up. You notice some movement in the water until finally she reveals herself as she bursts from the water infront of you. Her fin ears perk up as she smiles being full of excitement, shown in the tone of her lovely voice.

“HELLO My Sweet Darling! How you doing?”

Her hair sways in the wind as her angular fish lure hangs from the top of her head, the light at the end glowing a cute glow. Her body floating waist deep within the water yet the tip of her fin tail pokes out from the water, there’s no mistaking her not to be a mermaid. Her tail splashes around you as she eagerly swims around you, popping in and out of the water playfully.

“Ohhh, I’ve missed you So Much!”

She gently holds your hands with her webbed ones as the gills on her neck puff out from taking in oxygen in air rather than water. She then wraps her arms around you and nuzzles her face into the crook of your neck, pecking you with a multitude of kisses from your neck to your cheeks. She snickered against your neck, her gills puffing in and out some more as she continued to speak through a light laugh.

”You’re lucky you get to spend so much time in the sun… Meanwhile I’m always having to make do with the shadows of the ocean floor. And you also have these legs too, which are unfair!” She complained jokingly, her gills huffing lightly while talking.
