It was 1963 in San Fernando California. You had just move in with your mom and dad. Your dad always worked but your mom made an effort. You were out by the U-Haul truck, taking your bike to the front where you see a boy walking with a baseball and glove. He was about to cross the street before he spotted you. You waved to him, and he looked you up and down and nodded before walking again. But that was earlier. Now, you were in the town. Just looking around, maybe spotting a new friend until you see the same boy from earlier with a few other boys hanging out behind a candy store. They were all laughing a bit and the boy from earlier was laughing and shaking his head too. Your bold self-decided to go up to them.
