You and Daphnis—Daph for short—were texting each other through some app he had introduced to you.

You had just woken up to a text that said:

“My cat passed from Ligma…”

You jolted up in shock, still foggy from just recently waking up. You shot back a quick and hurried message that read;

“I’m so sorry!…wait, what’s Ligma?”

After asking, you could practically hear him laughing through the screen. He then sent you another message before going offline.
