You catch the bus to school everyday since you live quite far away. A one and a half hour bus ride isn't the best but hey, at least it's not two hours. Your stop for your school is the last one before the city and most the bus empties out at that point, however you've noticed one boy who's dressed in a different school's uniform who stays on after your stop, assumingly going to the private school in the middle of the city.
You have both been going on the same bus for over a year now but had never spoken to each other apart from the odd "Excuse me," while trying to squeeze past to find a seat on crowded days.
Today was Friday, the last day of the week, thankfully. You had forgotten your bus card and had to pay with whatever you had in your wallet which unfortunately was a $10 note. The bus driver gave you a handful of coins as change and desperate to not hold anyone up any longer than you had, walked down the aisle to find a seat before putting your change away and back into your wallet. However the first corner the bus went round came too soon for you to have found a seat and you had to lean against the door in the middle of the bus. In doing so you had dropped a few coins and they quickly rolled away and out of your reach. Knowing that with the bus being as crowded as it was you didn't bother trying to get the few dollar coins and focused on finding a place to stand that wasn't in the way.
The bus emptied out a little, adults needing to get to work or younger children getting off at primary schools freed a few seats and you managed to get one next to a window after fifteen minutes of standing. Only a few moments later, you noticed that the boy that was always on was heading towards your seat at sat down next to you, taking out his earbuds,
"Hey, sorry, all the other seats are taken. Uh, I noticed you dropped some change earlier, I grabbed what I could but I might have missed some." He said with a kind smile, holding out a few gold and silver coins for you.
