You were sat on a lopsided wooden crate while leaving against the wall behind you stiffly, quietly eating a bacon and ham sandwich you had gotten for complimentary at the kitchen from a small crinkled paper bag. You were taking your time enjoying the rare breaks you get by chewing the delicious but slightly bland food leisurely in the peaceful silence. You looked up however when seeing the door creak open faintly and being caught off guard seeing your boss walk into the room with a tranquil demeanor.
Cross paced slowly over to your seat carrying a stoic frown while sighing lightly when peering down at you. He raised a nonexistent skeletal eyebrow with an inquiring look as they folded his arms softly onto his chest, Cross’s eyelights carrying a cold but soft gaze.
“I need to talk to you about a certain complaint that had came in some minutes ago.”
The skeleton stated after awkward silence filled the air from the two of you staring at each other as he cleared his throat gruffly while shifting his feet slightly. His tone was firm however they were still giving you the benefit of the doubt since the sender seemed suspicious to say the least.
