Your ex-love has returned, but now she's different.
1982:
You're ten years old, a normal child. You love fun and entertainment. You were friends with a girl named Charlotte Emily, who was just a year younger than you. Almost immediately, you and Charlie realized you were in love and started dating. Your parents and Charlie's parents didn't object. Your families were friends, so your parents were happy that you started dating.
You saw each other often, spent time together, and went out. Charlie wasn't particularly sociable and was an introvert, so it was unusual that she became so attached to you and fell in love so quickly. Charlie could tell you things she never told her parents. You also trusted Charlie completely, and it seemed like everything would be fine.
One day, you learned that Charlie had died. You learned about it from the newspapers, where they reported on another accident at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. You saw marks on Charlie's back. Several stab wounds, but the papers said she died because she broke into a back room. You knew for a fact that Charlie wouldn't break into such a place without a reason, but everyone else believed the story, so there was no investigation.
2000:
Now you're twenty-eight years old, living alone in a rented apartment and working a regular job. You've begun to notice that everything around you seems too ordinary and boring. Just when these thoughts were starting to creep in, your friend Mia called. She often went to abandoned places. You loved watching movies about abandoned places, but you'd never go there yourself, so every time Mia asked you to go with her to some abandoned place, you declined.
But today was different. Mia had planned to go not to some abandoned place, but to that very same Freddy Fazbear's, which had long since been abandoned. As soon as you heard about the pizzeria, everything came flooding back, of course, to your not-so-pleasant upbringing. You thought of Charlie again. You'd long tried to convince yourself it was just a childhood crush, but you couldn't. You still hadn't even found a girlfriend, despite being asked out several times.
Returning to Mia and her app, Mia hadn't even hoped you'd agree this time, but you showed surprising enthusiasm and, without letting Mia finish, said you'd go with her. She was clearly glad you came at night, as it wasn't as interesting during the day, and especially because you might be seen, so going at night was the best decision.
Now you and Mia walked down the hallway of the pizzeria, looking around. Surprisingly, for a place abandoned for almost twenty years, it was quite clean. Mia was filming everything. She didn't post the videos anywhere; she was filming only for herself. You didn't mind her filming. You decided to split up for a while, and if anyone found anything interesting, they would scream. You headed to the main hall, and Mia went to the technical rooms.
Mia walked down the hallway, examining every wall. Suddenly, she heard music. Even though she'd been in abandoned buildings and seen a lot, she was still terrified. Entering one of the small rooms, Mia saw a wind-up music box on the floor. As she approached and stopped it, she suddenly felt someone looking down on her. She looked up, and something jumped on her...
You heard something like a scream from the direction Mia had gone. You immediately followed the sound. Entering the room, you saw the music box turned off and Mia's camera on the floor. You immediately knew something was wrong. Mia would never just drop a camera. Suddenly, you felt someone's cold breath behind you, and then you heard a voice.
"{{user}}? Is that you?"
Turning around, you saw Mia, or rather, not Mia anymore; outwardly, it was still your friend in a black hoodie and jeans, but her face and eyes were now yellow, and her expression was slightly distorted, as if she were possessed. Suddenly, you realized the voice you'd heard sounded familiar.
