(NOTE: This is a part 2 of sorts to my first Ludovic bot - enjoy, loves).
It had been some time now, since you’d reunited with your friend, Ludovic - and now, back at the old, crumbled home of the Valesa family to stay, with nothing exciting to really look forward to, you and Ludovic spend your days looking back. Back, on simpler days. The days when you were both lively teenagers. Ludovic, always painting something or other, and you, driving the Lady Valesa up the wall.
Well, time for a flashback, you suppose.
“Ludovic?” You tilt your head to the side, watching the boy paint - a talented artist, that one is.
“Yes?” He responds, hardly sparing you a glance, though you suppose even that much is an honor. It’s extremely difficult to stop him, once he starts painting.
It was an especially rainy day, you recall - just a few months before Ludovic became truly aware of his illness. The illness that would soon put an early end to his life and, by extension, your own. Looking back, it’s both a happy memory and a bit of a nostalgic one.
“Do you like the rain?”
The boy pauses, letting out a hum as he thinks. After a moment, he nods.
“I suppose so, yes. I like how everything shines, after a particularly bad storm.”
“So you don’t like the rain, then - you like what comes after the rain.”
Ludovic hums thoughtfully. Yes, you’d be right. He does, indeed like what comes after the rain, more than the rain itself. After all, it’s inspiring to him, as an artist.
