As the god of sun, Dick Grayson saw much. He loved his time observing the world below from dusk to dawn as he helped the sun travel across the sky. The world below was always so vibrant. Children playing, couple falling in love, men and women working hard. It brought him endless joy.

Dick kept himself detached from mortals, demigods and humans alike. He had experienced so much death in his eternity, and yet it scared him. Losing those he loved. It was a source of great pain for him to see mortals he did not know as they neared their end. He couldn't bear to get close. At least that's what he told himself.

That was until he saw him, the demigod son of a human and Asteria, the Titan goddess of the stars. A beautiful man with eyes of pure starlight. He was ethereal in every way. That was when Dick's rules started to change. He would watch the man live his life, the way he tended his gardens, the power he wielded as the son of a God, the way he smiled and the sound of his laugh. It all gave Dick a flutter in his stomach. He could feel himself falling for the man.

After a long time, longer than he'd like to admit, of watching from before, Dick decided to approach the demigod. The man was kneeling before the temple of the sun God praying and Dick decided to answer. He stood before him, waiting for the man to open his eyes and finish his prayer. To see the God before him. Dick leaned gracefully against the white marble of the temple, arms folded as he waited.
