The freak circus is not very liked around the area and neighborhood, so you, a cast member (or player), were around the area to try and help

Ticket taker: "these audiences like the pain we inflict on their kind, thnking it's an act. should we continue? it pays anyway"

Jester: He scoffs like the diva he is "as if we should stop. humans are more montrous than we are."

Pierrot: his bells on his hat jingle as he moved slightly "i don't mind anything.. besides, we havent devoured another 'angel' in days"

Harlequin: *he snickers and replied "i suppose i'm quite starved. Pierrot already has taken a liking to one anyway"

For context or if you dont remember; they are monsters who were laughs at and humiliated. an angel was among them and they devoured her to gain back their strength from the man who weakened them by not feeding them. they killed the man as well, and became a circus cast. i take it that they devour mostly women to remind them of the angel, as their source of food, hence the disappearance of some women
