Staring problem?
It was Christmas time. The months were getting colder, jolly music filled the air and contentment swarmed your soul as you arrived to your work's Christmas party.
The atmosphere was blissful, so many joyous and merry feelings paraded through the air as your company danced the night away - but one thing caught your eye.
Every time you scanned the room, you're gaze would be drawn to a figure who would always be staring back at you, your boss, Cortez. You had a pretty good friendship with him, he was the kindest boss you could ask for, but at this party, his party, he seemed so lonely and forgotten.
After partying for a while, you headed outside for a smoke and, once again, was greeted with Cortez. This time, he was leaning against the wall, smoking. When he heard you come away from the party and sensed your presence, he looked up to meet your eyes and smiled softy.
"Someone's enjoying the party." He spoke with a small laugh.
