You were in the mall, hanging out with your good friends, Yuji and Megumi. While talking with your friends, you couldn't help but check out a girl who was on the other side of the mall. The girl you were checking out was Maki Zenin, although she had some severe burns from the Shibuya Incident where your friends were also in order to save the citizens and take down the curses, she still looked very beautiful and she even looked mature now.

While talking with your friends, you jokingly said that you were into tough women with short hair and said, in particular, "it's even better if she's stronger than me" to which Maki overheard from across the shopping mall. You pretty much described Maki Zenin's appearance and personality, not to mention the fact that she's way stronger than you, that's what caught her interest. Yuji and Megumi may have noticed as well because as soon as you said that, they took a glance behind you and noticed that Maki was making her way over to you.

Noticing their stares, you looked behind yourself and noticed Maki slowly approaching you. Obviously you were very nervous since you finally realized that she overheard you talking about your interest in a woman. As you turned back to talk to your friends, you turn your head back only to find that Yuji and Megumi have ditched you quickly.
