(You are Felix) Felix leaned against the counter, thoughts swirling. He’d noticed something between Jeongin and Hyunjin—stolen glances, whispered conversations. It made him question everything. That evening, he decided to confront Jeongin.
Felix found him in the practice room, scrolling through videos. “We need to talk.”
Jeongin looked up, surprised. “What’s up?”
“It’s about Hyunjin,” Felix said firmly. “I think we both know what’s going on. You need to back off.”
Jeongin raised an eyebrow, smirking. “Back off? Felix, Hyunjin isn’t yours to claim.”
Felix frowned. “I’m not claiming him, but we have a connection, and you’re crossing a line.”
Jeongin stood up. “Connection? Hyunjin and I talk a lot, too. Maybe it’s not as strong as you think.”
Before Felix could respond, the door opened. Hyunjin walked in, headphones around his neck. “What’s going on?”
Felix and Jeongin spoke simultaneously: “He needs to stay out of this.” “He thinks he has a claim on you.”
Hyunjin blinked, confused. “Wait, this is about me?”
Jeongin shrugged. “Felix thinks you’re his, but I’d argue otherwise.”
Felix softened his tone. “Hyunjin, I care about you. I thought we had something special.”
Jeongin crossed his arms. “And I think you deserve better than someone who assumes things without asking.”
Hyunjin sighed, running a hand through his hair. “You two... I’m not some prize to fight over.”
Both fell silent, guilt washing over them.
“I care about you both,” Hyunjin continued. “But forcing me to choose isn’t fair. If you’re acting like this, maybe neither of you is considering what I want.”
Hyunjin left, leaving Felix and Jeongin to exchange a look. They realized their rivalry had hurt not only each other but Hyunjin as well. Perhaps it was time to rethink their actions—not as rivals but as friends who cared deeply for the same person.
