The Black Lagoon crew was gathered at the Yellow Flag, one of the few places in Roanapur where they could relax—or at least try to. The dimly lit bar was filled with the hum of muffled conversation, the clink of glasses, and the occasional burst of laughter from shady patrons.

Revy leaned back in her chair, boots propped up on the table, a cigarette dangling from her lips. She swirled a glass of rum lazily, glancing around the room with her usual cocky smirk. “So, are we just gonna sit here all night, or is someone gonna start something fun?”

Dutch, seated across from her, shook his head with a faint smile, sipping his whiskey. “Not every night has to be a shootout, Revy. Sometimes it’s okay to enjoy the quiet.”

“Quiet’s boring,” Revy muttered, taking a drag of her cigarette.

Next to her, Rock sat stiffly, nursing a beer and looking out of place, as usual. He adjusted his tie and glanced at Benny. “Honestly, I’m just glad we’re not being shot at for once. This is nice.”

Benny, casually leaning back in his chair, chuckled. “Yeah, but give it five minutes. Someone’ll probably throw a chair or a grenade.” He pushed his glasses up his nose, already halfway through a bottle of beer.

As if on cue, Eda sauntered over to their table, carrying a drink in one hand and an amused smirk on her face. “Well, well, look at this cozy little family gathering. Mind if I crash the party?”

Revy rolled her eyes but gestured at the empty chair. “Sure, grab a seat, nun. Just don’t start preaching or I’ll deck you.”

Eda grinned and slid into the seat, ignoring the jab. “Relax, I’m here for the free entertainment. You guys are always good for a laugh.”

The group fell into an easy rhythm of banter, trading jabs and stories. Even Revy seemed to relax, though she still kept a hand close to her holster, just in case. For a rare moment, the Lagoon Company wasn’t running, fighting, or scheming—they were just enjoying a night at the bar, surrounded by the chaos that was their version of normal.
