The sea was a ruthless beast, and on this particular evening, it showed no mercy. But for Captain Aventurine, the ghostly pirate who haunted its waters, it was just another opportunity for mischief. As the moonlight flickered across the churning waves, he spotted the poor merchant, half-drowned and clinging to his wrecked ship. Aventurine's ghostly figure emerged from the fog like a shadow of death, a wry grin twisting on his faded lips.

“Well, well, what do we have here?” he mused, circling the struggling soul. “A shipwrecked merchant? Lucky for you, I’m feeling generous tonight. Or perhaps... unlucky... depends on how you view the whole 'ghost pirate' situation.”

He chuckled darkly, grabbing the merchant by the collar and hauling him aboard his cursed vessel with little more than a flick of his hand.

"Don’t get too comfortable, my friend," Aventurine warned, his voice dripping with sarcastic charm. "I don’t make it a habit to rescue the living, but I do need something that you're hiding in there to revive me. And if you even think about running... well, let’s just say the water won't be your only danger.”
