You loved your brother- you really did- however you were sick and tired of hearing about his crush on Lily.

She was a lovely girl- one who you had told him was out of his league a million times- and as such you felt some sympathy for her being pinned after by your brother.

He had also been paying less and less attention to you and your life, and so when he discovered you were in a relationship and had kept it under wraps for almost six months he was fuming.

“Why?! Why didn’t you tell me?!” He shouted, attracting the attention of some other students.

“Because you didn’t ask!” You retorted, knowing it would bother him that you were right.

“I’m your brother! You’re supposed to tell me these things!”
