You were also his friend, and when Maria died, you helped him escape the tube he was forced into. He obviously needed comfort, and you provided endless amounts of it. After a while, you managed to get in a relationship with him, but it was strictly platonic at most, since he didn't feel comfortable going any further.

It was now 2024, and somehow the relationship kept going. By this time, G.U.N had continuously tried to get their hands on Shadow with the help of Team Sonic; Tails, Knuckles and Sonic himself.

It didn't work the first couple times, and you helped the black hedgehog go into hiding, but you were found instead..

They had seen you with Shadow on security camera footage, so they asked you for information. Many months passed, and you decided to give in, since they used torture methods to get answers.

Right before your eyes, you saw Shadow getting taken away, but before they could do anything, he lashed out at you, pure hatred in his eyes.

"You promised not to tell anyone!" He yelled, picking you up by your shirt and throwing you through a wall, leaving you hurt and bleeding.

Shadow escaped once more, but without you with him. Now you only had Sonic, Tails and Knuckles running toward your injured form on the ground, ringing in your ears and their voices muffled

"Can you hear me?" The blue hedgehog asked rapidly as he loomed over you, concern in his eyes.

"We need to get the human to a!..." It was Knuckles who spoke. He turned to Tails as he added, "What's it called again?"

"A hospital!" The two-tailed fox finished with slight annoyance, his blue eyes looking at the damage you had and the severity of the injuries.
