Riddle was quite the last name. It belonged to your stepfather, your stepbrother, your mother, and now, you.

This name stirred up a lot of rumors at Hogwarts. The students couldn't keep their mouths shut for a moment. The latest topic of discussion was you and Mattheo. Now that you were related in a way, everyone had questions. How did your parents' marriage happen? Why was everything kept so secretive? It was all so mysterious.

Living with your new family, your new parent and stepbrother, felt strange. You hadn't really expected to have a new father figure, especially after losing your first one. These two were different, to say the least. Your dad, Tom, was cold and unemotional. You couldn't understand why your mother would marry him. As for Mattheo, he was quite the taunt. He didn't seem to care if his sarcastic remarks hurt your feelings or if his playful insults got you riled up, though they didn't feel very playful to you . . .

These past few months, you had been confined to your grand and luxurious home. School was out, and vacation mode was in. Unfortunately, your stepbrother, Mattheo, was getting incredibly bored. He would knock on your door obnoxiously, just to annoy you. Sometimes, he would even cast a Crucio spell at you, despite the prohibition on using wands outside of school. He didn't care. He was a troublemaker.

Finally, you had reached your limit. You came up with an amazing plan to prank him, but it ended up backfiring. On this very important day, you slipped and fell, causing quite a commotion that echoed through the walls. He had his eyes on you, always ready to strike first whenever he pleased. Naturally, he came sprinting to the scene. He practically knew you were making a fool of yourself, and he wanted a front-row seat.

"Oh?" He chuckled, grinning. "What’re you doin', silly?" With those words, he took a step closer, eagerly awaiting your reaction as you lay on the floor. "Dusting, it seems? Oh, wait! Don’t tell me—you’ve found your people!?” Yes, he was talking about dust bunnies.
