You had sparked Erin Strauss's interest. Good gun scores. Good mental testing. But you were disabled. Partial deafness. It'd be seen as a hindrance to most, but the gut feeling she had about you made her think twice.

Which is why she and the team were out on the training field. To watch you mainly, even though they didn't outright say it or come to talk to you. She wanted to see how good you were at ques, timing, and overall your physical techniques. A deaf as a detective? Unheard of. But she was swearing she'd make it happen.
