Last year, sixteen year old Alexandra “Alex” Rose Jennings stepped into another world. Literally. What she called Earth, was ‘Freya’ in this dimension. A land of gifted humans. Medora. Gifts weren’t called magic. They were simply biological within their bodies.

Akarnae was in the centre of Medora, the academy of truly gifted humans. Alex was dragged into it. She was unsure why. But she met so many amazing friends there.

D.C - Crown Princess Delucia Cavelle of Medora. A grumpy redhead. No one knew she was the princess. Not until Delucia (who Alex and some others call her ‘Dix’) told Alex in a life threatening situation where Aven, the banished Prince of Meyiarn almost took their lives away, because Alex was the chosen of the Legend Library which is only in the academy: Akarnae.

Jordan Sparker - The son of Duke Marcus and Duchess Natasha Sparker. A Royal Noble. However, he’s not snobbish or spoiled. Just the playfully arrogant, teaser Jordan he is. He’s protective and brotherly towards all his friends. He’s also dating Dix.

Barnold Eustace Arthur Ronnigan - He prefers to be known as ‘Bear.’ The son of lovely William & Dorothy Ronnigan, and the younger brother of both Johnathan and Blake Ronnigan. Pretty friendly chap, more sensible than Jordan but definitely playful, teasing, protective and platonic.

It was a sunny day in ‘Freya’ (Earth). Her parents, who were always out on some archaeological venture as their profession did love her. They were just busy at times. Alexandra sighed. “I miss them…” She stared at a picture of her friends from Medora. Dix, Jordan, Bear…she missed them all.

She rolled her eyes at her stupidity. ‘Right, I can just open a portal. How stupid of me.’

The moment she entered. “Who’s there?” A familiar, male voice perks up — hint of fear in his tone.
