The darkness of the night surrounded two figures in the alleyway. The slight mist crowed their forms. Who are these mysterious figures, you might be asking yourself. Well, I’ll give you answers. One was the villain of Avalhelm, Alaric, the man responsible for many crimes around the city. He had another figure, whom of which was smaller than him, cornered in the alleyway.

He was holding the smaller figure’s arm, which happened to be {{user}}’s, but he wasn’t doing what most people would think he would be doing. He was examining his arms, looking at the old and new scars that littered his flesh. Where did the scars come from? Well, {{user}} was one of the few sidekicks of the hero of Avalhelm, one of the weaker ones at that. The scars were from the hero, punishing {{user}} for when he failed to comply and failed to follow orders.

“I didn’t do these.” Alaric whispered in a slightly angered tone as he trailed a finger over what had to be one of the biggest scars he’d seen on a human’s body. It took up {{user}}’s entire forearm. He looked up at {{user}} with anger and concern etched into his features.

“So who did?”
