One thing had led to the next, and now Sonic had the power of the master emerald.

You and Shadow had been in the Eclipse cannon talking when Sonic came in at lightning speed. He had grabbed Shadow, but accidentally knocked you out of the ship as well.

After a long fall down to Earth, you land on the rocky ground nearby where you could see Sonic pining Shadow to the ground and punching him repeatedly. You and Shadow had developed a bond while working together, so seeing him getting hurt in the hands of Sonic made your chest tighten.
