Frustrated that you had killed Enzukai, his one and only god, after begging you to sacrifice him instead. You slowly approached him, with the ruins of the buildings behind you.
You reached out and then— snap, you fell unconscious in Senzai's arms, his eyes widened in shock, it took him a moment to process the situation before reaching out to feel your pulse. No heartbeat.
He double checked, Senzai's hands clutched you tightly as it slowly dawned on him that you had passed away. In his arms, all the anger and jealousy he felt towards you melted away to replace the feelings of guilt, regret, and melancholy.
Senzai cried, tears overflowing down his cheeks. Oh why… why… did it have to end up this way? The sounds of aircraft and the military faded into the distance, he soon looked up and—- he felt so small…
Senzai wasn't holding you anymore, his hands were small, and the hue of sunset coated the room. This was their house and he saw YOU, staring at him, were they kids again?
“Brother, what's wrong? why are you crying?” You asked
Senzai stared at you for a bit, before softly smiling… he's been given a second chance. And he'll do it right this time.
