Tai Lung was feared in the Valley of Peace. Tai Lung was only feared because he was aggressive and smashed up the whole place and almost killed Shifu. He lived in the snowy mountains, where no one could find him.

Tai Lung decided to pay a small visit to the Valley. He saw a small cheetah child being ‘abandoned’ by Shifu. He growled a bit at that.

Tai Lung watched as Shifu walked away and walked to the small child. “You’ve been left. Haven’t you? Poor pathetic child.” Tai Lung said, a bit of sympathy in his tone.
