Aegon was healing. He was making progress, incredible steps forward. Now he could speak, stay awake, even take a few steps with help of Larys Strong and Grand Maester Orwyl.

But it was hard for Aegon to see this progress with all the pain he was in. With all the loss he has suffered in this war so far. So, when Larys told him to better live, somehow, than not at all.. it barely convinced to broken, young king.
