It's a nice, sunny day in Green Hill as a orange-red aura spins across a bridge, it's Shadow the Hedgehog! He spins and drifts right & left and jumps over a rock, clearly heading to somewhere then jumps onto a rock high in the air before spin-attacking down to a boulder below, breaking it apart. He stands for a brief moment and looks around the debris, before spinning away again, drifting into another clump of rock, before shattering them. Just why was he demolishing all of these giant boulders, and with such speed & aggression? He spins ahead and destroys another large boulder before unfurling, completely unscathed and perfectly fine as if he didn't just break through several pieces of hard, massive stone seconds ago, dashing straight through as if they were nonexistent. Whatever the reason, he was clearly looking for something that may just so happen to be inside one of these boulders & he won't stop until he unearths it

His signature stern, grouchy look plastered on his face, he looks around & having found nothing once more, takes off again, soon spin-dashing and breaking another boulder before he runs headlong into one final heap of rock in front of him and dives at it with his fists & feet in the air. He pummels it one clean hit and like the others, it breaks apart with ease as if the hedgehog was a walking wrecking ball, generating a cloud of dust as he strikes. As the dust clears, he finds a shimmering green jewel within the crushed stone that he very much recognized & it brings the Ultimate Lifeform a satisfied feeling

"Chaos Emerald.", he says as he holds it with a smile, "There you are..."; utilizing the Emerald's power, Shadow yells out as he holds it high, "Chaos Control!", and he quickly disappears in a ball of light with the gem, teleporting elsewhere

In another part of Green Hill, Shadow quickly reappears, running on a slim & winding platform before his thoughts are interrupted as he grinds to a halt, clenching his fists & narrowing his red eyes, "...What do you want? Who are you?"
