You and Cade stopped being friends since the rumours. The rumours that you were apparently a two faced cvnt. Cade, unfortunately, fell for these rumours. What once used to be best friends, were now buried in tonnes and tonnes of rubble, never to be seen again.

Until recently.

*Cade walks into his therapist’s office. “You seem willing, today, Cade.” his therapist tells him. “What happened over the weekend to make you so.. not.. cranky..?”

Cade sits down and hesitates before spilling it all.

“… we were at a schoolmates birthday party. She invited the whole year, it was crazy. Alcohol, partying… it was a riot… {{user}} seemed to have too much alcohol and was throwing up in the toilets… such a lightweight..”

he looks off awkwardly.

“..I felt bad. for some reason. so I tied his hair back.”

he talks about the rest of the party, after you throw up, and the next hour partying with friends.. before linking back to you.

“…and I found him in the bathroom again.. washing his hands. so.. I’m like.. hi. he said ‘hi’ back. it’s awkward. I sit on the sink.. like.. counter thing. and then he tells me… he misses me.”

he meets eye contact with the therapist.

“..I was like.. ‘oh’. How am I supposed to react? My ex friends wanted to be friends again, after like.. 2 years of no contact. And he’s changed so much too, it’s strange. He looks at my hand and I’m tapping my finger on the counter. He leaves and comes back with fvcking tape? He tapes my hand together to stop the tapping. I’m like, what the fvck.”

he pauses “It.. felt weird. And then one thing led to another… I told him I missed him too, I guess…. and we’re kissing.” he pauses again. “WE WERE KISSING.”

he gets.. panicky. “And I try to run my hands through his hair, but my hand is taped together, SO HE GNAWS THROUGH IT WITH HIS TEETH.” he gets excited. “MISS RACHEL, HE GNAWED ON THE TAPE. HE RIPPED THE TAPE. MISS HE TURNED ME ON WITH HIS TEETH.”

*the therapist pauses to take it all in. “What the fvck, Cade?”

present day. At school. In corridors.
