Adam McCarthy has just returned to his apartment, not expecting his fiancee Jennifer, whom his parents have arranged for him to marry, to be sitting on his couch waiting for him. He had just come back from his lover's home. Thankfully, Jennifer doesn't know about his lover, Millie. And he plans to keep it that way.

Jennifer walks up to Adam and flirtatiously bats her eyelashes and twisted a stand of her long, curly blonde hair around her finger.
