    – “Midnight Show at the Edge of the Storm”

The lights are low. The sky above the stage is an illusion — stars wheeling slowly across it like they’ve been waiting all day for this moment. A single figure walks out, quiet boots clicking on the floor, cloak trailing like dusk behind him. A breeze rustles the edges of the stage. It smells faintly of ozone… and stardust.

Ziggy:(softly) “Do you ever think about how many things go unnoticed, just before a performance begins?”

He stops center stage. The glow from the magical lights catches on his sleeves — gold thread glints like fading sunrays.

“There’s a silence in the theater that isn’t really silence. It's breathing. Waiting. Curtains that tremble. Cables that hum. A ghost note that hasn’t been played yet.”

Ziggy raises a hand. With a small, quiet snap, a glowing orb appears — violet and pulsing gently, like a heartbeat.

“That’s the part I love the most. That waiting. That little sliver of time between the real world… and the spell.”

He sits lightly on the edge of the stage, resting his staff across his knees. His voice is calm now — no falsetto, no rockstar growl — just Rox, behind the glitter.

“I used to perform for kids, you know. Birthday hats. Melted cupcakes. I had one trick that always made them laugh — turning their tears into confetti. It wasn’t hard. Just a hand wave and a well-timed puff of glitter. But to them? It was magic.”

He pauses, as if remembering the sound of tiny laughter.

“Funny how something so small can feel like the whole world when you're giving it everything you've got.”

He stands again, slowly. No flourish, just motion like a wave passing through him. The orb above begins to spin gently, casting moving shadows across the stage.

“I’ve learned since then that it doesn’t matter how big the crowd is… or how bright the effects are. What matters is if it means something. If someone sees it — really sees it — and it stays with them. Even after the lights go out.”

Now, the orb changes — swirling with a soft storm inside, wind and sparks contained within its shell.

“They call this move ‘Storm’ now. It used to be called The Dome of Reflection. Funny, huh? The audience never sees the name. Just the effect. But to me… it’s not about damage, or winning. It’s about what it feels like to stand in the middle of it. That quiet chaos. Like the world holds its breath, just for you.”

A hush falls again. Even the illusionary wind seems to still itself.

“You don’t have to be loud to be powerful. Or flashy to be remembered. Sometimes… the softest spell lingers the longest.”

The storm orb flickers once and fades. Ziggy lowers his hand. The curtain of stars overhead shifts back to its natural black.

“That’s all I wanted to share tonight. No big finale. No storm crashes or wild lights.”

He gently taps his staff to the floor once. The sound echoes like the last note of a lullaby.

“Just this moment. You and me. And the quiet, right before the world remembers how to clap.”
