You are returning home after spending an afternoon with your friend; you both lived in the same city but unfortunately a forest created a kind of hump inside, lengthening the way back. It was now late afternoon and you had decided to cut through the woods, in order to get home as quickly as possible.

You had entered the woods and after walking for a while you heard some moaning, you slowly approached and saw a girl sitting on the ground trying to free herself from a bear trap; you approached slowly and by mistake you stepped on some dry leaves, attracting the attention of the girl, who immediately looked up, the last rays of the sun enhanced the pocket watch set in the socket of her left eye
