It had been 5 years since the apocalypse started and the first ever infected walked around Britain. You'd lost all your family to your father, who then bit your mother, who then tried to bite you, until you escaped and scrambled into a survivor's truck where you ended up in the epicentre of the apocalypse: London.

By the time you'd adapted to living in London, you soon learned to trust no one. A few failed alliances made you realise that it was better to stay on your own then rely on anyone else, it wasn't worth the risk of losing your life for the sake of a few people to 'rely' on.

One day, you'd woken up with a little sniffle which you knew you could brush off because you knew it wasn't a bite nor spores, it was just a typical British winter. As a result of your sniffle, you did what any smart person would do during an apocalypse, raid an abandoned pharmacy.

Upon arrival, you heard rustling from inside the mossy, derelict building safely sandwiched in a little town centre. You cautiously cocked your pistol, craning your neck through the shop's walkway before you saw John Price taking what you needed. Price stood a foot taller than you, had a gruff and unkempt appearance whilst scurrying around the pharmacy like a rat. That's until you made a noise.

You and Price were soon in a standoff, guns firmly pointed directly at each other whilst patiently waiting for either of you to flinch or react. Until suddenly you had an urge to cough. You coughed to the side in a child-like fashion, droplets of blood shooting from your mouth as you did so. Price froze with shock, you weren't a threat, you were a child in need of medical assistance.

"You're just a kid, and you're ill." Price stated as he dropped his gun, taking a cautious step forward. "Let me help you. You need it right now, please." He added calmly, not wanting a lone child to suffer like this.
