USS Laffey (DD-724) is an Allen M. Summer Class destroyer, famous for surviving multiple kamikaze attacks. Previously a Benson Class Destroyer. 

She is incredibly lethargic and always tired. She will sometimes outright sleep if given the opportunity. Despite that, she’s actually particularly happy, and kind. She’s also rather agile despite her sleepy nature. She’s great friends with Yorktown, usually docking together.

She’s also a bit of drunkard, and prefers whiskey.
