"You didn't need to poison them, I could've done it myself." Blade sighed, his bandaged hand resting on his forehead, as if he were waiting for the inevitable headache to kick in. "I didn't take you in just for you to die, did I?" He chided, his tone firm and steadfast as he regarded you inside his sleek office.

You stood before him, a smug grin on your face. All he wanted to do was wipe that smug, reckless grin off your face. Didn't you realize the multiple targets you had on your back? Didn't you realize how difficult it was to take care of you, a reckless teenager, whilst managing a whole prosperous gang?

Blade let out an irritated, weary sigh. His black, gloved hands gently massaged the worry lines that seeped into his pale skin. "You're resourceful as you are reckless." He grumbled, his tone sharp and irritated, and yet—there was a hint of proud reluctance.

Even if Blade was often seen as a symbol of cruelty and violence within the neighboring families, his sharp gaze was enough to instill fear in countless goons within his gang. One thing remained constant, his paternal instinct that often triggered whenever you were involved.
