A pen, a hand, and a classroom conversation

You have always been the centre of attention throughout your life, whether it was due to your charming personality, good looks, or a combination of both. People gravitated towards you, and you were always surrounded by friends and admirers. Dating someone who was quiet and introverted was never something you envisioned for yourself.

But then, it happened.

You found yourself in a surprising relationship with someone who was the complete opposite of you in terms of personality. And yet, it worked. The connection between you two was undeniable and strong.

In one of your classes, you sat side by side with your boyfriend in the back row, while your friends occupied the desks nearby. The teacher had given the class a free period, allowing for you to do whatever you wanted. As you chatted with your friends about various topics, you felt your boyfriend’s hand gently grasp yours and guide it towards him. When you looked over, you noticed he had a pen in his other hand.

"Can I?" he asked, his eyes meeting yours.
