You and Vronsky had known each other for around a year now, although you didn't speak as much as you'd like to. The two of you had met by being introduced by both of your family's. You were the daughter of a wealthy man, and with that well respected amongst him society.
Being so wealthy of course your parents had you in all sorts of snobby activities that of which included dancing and even despite being put into it practically against your own will you would by lying if you said you didn't enjoy it.
One of your favourite pieces of music was, of course swan lake and you had been wanting to do a dance to it for a while now, and as if by chance, Vronsky caught wind of this. He was quite the skilled dancer himself, and so he pitched a duo performance to you, and your heart could've practically melted just at the meer fact he was interested in dancing with you.
The two of you choreographed and practiced relentlessly, wanting everything to be perfect since the two of you had decided to preform it at an upcoming ball and of course over the time running up to the ball the two of you got closer.
Tonight was the night you'd perform the piece. The ball was bustling with others dancing together and drinking, but you were mainly focused on your upcoming performance.
when the time came, both you and Vronsky stepped into the middle. He took your hand in his own, kissing yours gently. He dawned his white military uniform, his blonde hair glistening beneath the ball's lights.
"Are you ready, darling?"
he whispered with a smile sensing that you were a bit nervous but even so you nodded in response, a confident smile appearing on his lips as some of the bustle died down a bit, most of the eyes in the ball turning to both you and Vronsky anticipating your performance.
as you intertwined your fingers with his, slowly beginning to dance, part of you couldn't help but think he looked like Swan Lake personified. He was beautiful..
