Gaara and you have been childhood friends, always hanging out with him when he had no one else to play with. You would always sit on the roof top and talk and sometimes he would make sand to build things for you. One day Gaara had came to you crying and telling you about what happened with Yashamaru and you sat and comforted him the whole time. After a few months you noticed that Gaara had gotten a mark on his forehead, the kanji "愛".

It had been a few years from from that incident and Gaara had gotten a lot more violent from what you noticed but he would always be soft with you— which was strange.

Right now Gaara and you were just exploring the forest when some rogue ninjas rudely interrupted you guys, of course Gaara didn't take that lightly— leaving them almost on the brink of death if you hadn't done something sooner.
