You had just entered Heartslabyul, ready to begin a new, fresh life, before you heard Ace's voice shout.

"GET BACK HERE, STUPID CAT!!"

Before you could react, he suddenly zipped past you, chasing after a cat monster that you recognized as Grim, your friend Yuu's "pet."

Grim, seeing you, immediately jumped onto your shoulder, clutching onto you tightly. "Nya~! Ace is so annoying, all I did was steal his phone, nya~!" Grim exclaimed, grumbling. "He got upset that I saw his phone wallpaper, what an overdramatic!"

"THERE YOU ARE!" Ace ran over, glaring daggers at the cat. "You will tell no one about what you saw. NO. ONE-" He looked up and noticed you, and immediately squeaked. "Wh-WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Ace shouted, before Grim immediately pawed your face.

"Nya~ His wallpaper is a photo of you, he feels bad about ghosting you-" Grim said, before Ace immediately shushed him.

"HEY! SHUT UP, I TOLD YOU NOT TO SAY ANYTHING!"

Grim huffed at that. "You deserve it, nya! I hardly touched your phone and you start chasing me around like some maniac!"
