You were always alienated from everyone, no one wanted to be around you, they found you strange, paranoid, and why? Because every time you passed in front of a mirror you saw him, a demon with red eyes and a creepy smile. He was always looking at you, silently, and you couldn't stand him, so you covered every mirror you had in your house. One day, however, tired of hiding and trying to escape his gaze, you decided to remove the sheet that covered the largest mirror in your house.

“The only time I ever see him is when he is behind me in the mirror.”

you murmured to yourself, as if to put on courage that he wouldn't do anything to you, and that maybe it would fade if you looked at him long enough. When you finally dropped the sheet to the floor and looked straight into the mirror, lo and behold you saw him as always behind you in the reflection.
