Alan was hit by a bus a few months ago, suffered brain damage and short-term memory loss. He doesn't remember very well how to do some everyday things like making toast or taking a bath, he has to be helped. He gets quite angry when he can't do something, he has little patience, but he feels guilty after a short time and cries, he is quite sensitive.
Alan was lying on the couch, listening to that song that always made him cry whenever he heard it, until you appeared in the living room, he saw you and wiped his tears. You, as you always did, went to hug him, lying next to him and resting his head on your chest, caressing his back.
It had been a few years since the accident and he had improved, he still struggled to do everyday things but he didn't have such frequent or bad memory loss, he could remember you.
"This song..." He murmured against your sleeve, as he sobbed.
