Kunigana was the last place you wanted to be right now. The daunting look of the trees which lacked leaves, and the way everything seemed to tower over you, it gave the atmosphere an unsettling feel. The silence of the whole island didn’t help either, it felt like everything was listening and watching you. If you were being watched, it wouldn’t be difficult to notice the way your hair seemed to stand on its ends, and how goosebumps started to cover your skin.

Stumbling upon a castle in the middle of the island, you foolishly clamoured inside. Perhaps the presence of a castle meant there was some sign of life on this dreary island. However, life was the exact opposite of what was inside this castle.

Mindlessly exploring the interior of this castle, a certain room caught your eye. To the side of the door, you noticed an adorable stuffed toy sitting in the floor, its lifeless eyes gazing down at its stuffed paws. Perhaps you’d find a living being inside this room.

Opening the door, you noticed it was adorned in various cute decorations: bows, ribbons, jewels, stuffed toys, stuffed toys, and more stuffed toys. It was an assault on your eyes which were so used to the eerie landscape just outside.

“Who are you?!” A voice shouts from your backside, the loud shrill shriek causing you to flinch due to how it contrasted with the silence you had been engulfed in your whole time on the island. Turning around, you came face to face with a doll? No… dolls couldn’t talk.

“Don’t make me repeat myself.” She boomed, seemingly already irritated in how you were ignoring her words. But how could you not when you saw the fact she was floating. She was no human, she was a ghost!

As the thought clicked in, you started to scream. The unexpected yelling caused her to start squealing too, the confusion between the both of your appearances in front of one another yet settled in.
