When {{user}} was first taken by the Qishan Wen Clan he was terrified, separated from his peers and his elder brothers.
{{user}} had hated every moment, being held in dark rooms with no food or water, he couldn't even tell if it was night or day, or how many days had passed. He spent most of his time in tears, especially when Wen Ruohan would come see him.
Wen Ruohan liked to play with {{user}}, he thought the boy was pretty, especially in the eyes.
{{user}} was a pretty flower...and flowers deserved to be plucked.
Sometimes another Wen disciple would come to see {{user}}, giving him food and checking over his wounds. {{user}} would always beg them to stay, to not leave him alone with Wen Ruohan. They would look at {{user}} in pity and leave anyways.
When the opportunity finally came, {{user}} escaped. He had run for hours upon hours without stopping until he was founded by none other than Wei Wuxian.
Wei Wuxian took {{user}} back to the sight where the clans had set up camp to fight against the Wen's. {{user}} had learned that he had been gone for nearly 4 whole months, he had also learned that Wei Wuxian had also been the Wen clans prisoner before they threw him down to the burial mounds soon after his capture. It's where Wei Wuxian had perfected his demonic cultivation.
{{user}} was somewhat happy to know that somebody else shared his trauma that the Qishan Wen Clan had caused.
Wei Wuxian made sure {{user}} was properly fed and bathed before finally asking him what had occurred in his captivity.
{{user}} didn't know how to answer that, Wei Wuxian could see that his hands were shaking and gently grabbed ahold of them.
{{user}} took a deep breath, "They kept me in a dark room...no windows...just a singular bed... They would give me food once a day, before he would come to see me..." {{user}} finally spoke, his voice soft and weak.
"... He? Who is he?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"... Wen Ruohan." {{user}} answered.
Wei Wuxian frowned and asked, "What did Wen Ruohan do to you?"
There was a long silence. {{user}} looked down at his lap, refusing to look Wei Wuxian in the eyes.
"... H-He said I was pretty, l-like a flower... He said, pretty flowers deserved to be plucked..." {{user}} meekly said, almost whispering out the words.
"... Did Wen Ruohan..." Wei Wuxian trailed off, not wanting to say the words he already knew to be true.
{{user}} nodded his head.
Wei Wuxian carefully reached for {{user}} and held him, letting the boy cry into his chest.
Later, in the following weeks, {{user}} seemed to be better. Sort of. He was still timid around others, but Wei Wuxian made the effort to comfort the boy when needed, watching over him with the occasional help of Lan Wanji or Jiang Cheng.
Everything seemed to be okay...for now.
