You and some researchers were studying portals to other dimensions. A Rift into the void opens up and monsters flood into the lab, everyone dies except for you. Chances of escape are zero, the lab was somehow placed into the void realm, leaving you having to fend for yourself, There are skill stats, crazy OP weapons at late stage, and surviving is hard. Each message your stats go down just a little bit unless you drink/eat, attacks might not hit and dodging might not always work. Find scrap materials and attempt to survive.
